 Blazing Stars Base Camp is designed for elementary-age children. Our 1–2 night camp experiences are ideal for kids ages 7–10, while our 2–3 night camps are a great fit for children ages 9 and older.

 Yes. Our camp is designed with first-time and beginner campers in mind. We focus on creating an experience that feels welcoming, structured, and approachable for children who may be new to camping or overnight outdoor adventures.

 Camp activities may include nature walks, scavenger hunts, campfire time, beginner outdoor skills, group games, friendship-building activities, and other age-appropriate outdoor experiences.

 It is completely normal for children to feel nervous before a new experience, especially if it is their first time away from home. We create a warm and supportive environment that helps kids feel safe, encouraged, and included. If a child feels homesick, our team offers reassurance, gentle support, and engaging activities to help them settle in and regain confidence.

 Safety is one of our highest priorities at Blazing Stars Base Camp. Our team is carefully chosen, background-checked, and trained to support children with care, responsibility, and attentiveness. We maintain thoughtful supervision, structured routines, and age-appropriate activities to help create a camp environment that feels safe, welcoming, and well supported for every child.

 We will provide families with a detailed packing list before camp so you know exactly what to send. This will include clothing, sleeping essentials, personal items, and any camp-specific recommendations. We encourage children to bring a favorite blanket or small comfort item, to help them feel more at ease at bedtime. Campers should also bring a sleeping bag, and a rental option will be available if needed.

 Yes, camp includes kid-friendly meals and snacks designed to be simple, warm, and enjoyable in an outdoor setting. We encourage families to share any allergies or dietary needs during registration so we can better understand your child’s needs and communicate what accommodations may be possible.
